Our client runs a group of exclusive hotels throughout the UK. They currently have an opening and are looking to recruit a receptionist at their exclusive site in Devon.
Overall Purpose:
To be a professional and efficient first point of contact for all guests of the hotel and ensure that they receive the highest standard of service and co-operation at all times, whilst ensuring the smooth running of the Front of House department.
Specific Duties: ·To ensure all guests are received at the House reception desk in accordance with Hotel procedures and Company policy.
·To ensure that you are fully aware of all Hotel tariffs, facilities and current activities.
·To bring to the attention of the Head Receptionist any problems or complaints
·To be fully aware of the cashhandling and credit procedures and to report any discrepancies to your supervisor immediately
·To liase with all departments and communicate any special requirements of individual guests.
·To provide an efficient and professional service at all times and deal with guest enquiries either by fax, telephone, letter or verbally.
·To have a working knowledge of all Front of House related systems and equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months receptionist experience, ideally within a hotel setting, however this is not essential. You must have a warm, welcoming personaility and the ability to multi task.
